Sergio Mart\u00ednez, Cellar Master at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lustau.es\/en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Bodegas Lustau<\/a> was named \u201c<strong>Best Fortified Winemaker<\/strong>\u201d at the Awards Gala of the prestigious <a href=\"http:\/\/www.internationalwinechallenge.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">International Wine Challenge<\/a> celebrated last night in London.<\/p>\n<p>After more than 14 years in the House of Lustau, <a href=\"https:\/\/lustau.es\/en\/news\/4\/bodegas-lustau-announces-the-appointment-of-sergio-martinez-as-cellar-master\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Sergio has led the winery\u2019s oenological team since last summer<\/a>. \u201c<em>I am enormously proud to be part of this team. This prize is recognition to each and every of us who work at Lustau<\/em>\u201d he stated after receiving the award.<br \/>\nLast night there was also room for remembrance of <a href=\"https:\/\/lustau.es\/en\/news\/6\/official-statement-on-the-passing-of-manuel-lozano\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Manolo Lozano<\/a>, Sergio\u2019s predecessor and mentor. \u201c<em>I feel so blessed for having had Manolo\u2019s guidance in my career. He was a great teacher and an extraordinary person. Always generous, creative and visionary.
