Lustau wines made ??history after receiving two Trophies, 10 gold medals and a total of 45 awards.
Jerez, May 18th, 2015.
Bodegas Emilio Lustau (www.lustau.es) has broken all records in the latest edition of the London International Wine Challenge contest (www.internationalwinechallenge.com) and now ranks as the most awarded European winery in the competition, with a total of 45 awards, 10 gold medals and 2 Trophies. Lustau is now the winery with the largest number of gold medals in Europe.
Particularly noteworthy are the medals won by wines with over 30 years of ageing: Lustau Amontillado VORS and Palo Cortado Lustau VORS, both awarded the gold medal for four consecutive years. Meanwhile, Lustau Oloroso VORS wins the Oloroso Trophy, recognized as the best Oloroso in the competition. Thus, the VORS Lustau range consolidates its hegemony among the Sherry Triangle’s longer ageing wines.
Thanks to these excellent results, Bodegas Emilio Lustau strengthens its leadership in the Sherry wine category, offering consumers the widest range and highest quality in all segments across the market.
