Exclusive distribution agreement to strengthen the brand’s position in the premium rosé segment and introduce an innovative alcohol-free alternative
Caballero expands its wines and spirits portfolio with its first alcohol-free offering
El Puerto de Santa María, 15 October 2026. Grupo Luis Caballero and Acontia Vinos have signed a strategic partnership and exclusive distribution agreement to drive the growth of La Vie en Rose, a premium brand of rosé wines and alcohol-free alternatives. The brand brings together traditional winemaking and innovations tailored to evolving consumer preferences, including its alcohol-free Rosé 0,0.
The partnership, which takes effect today, will enable Grupo Luis Caballero to expand its portfolio into a new category that complements its established wines and spirits business. Grupo Luis Caballero will support La Vie en Rose with its nationwide sales network, marketing and logistics capabilities, and market development expertise. Acontia Vinos, which owns the brand and products, will retain its intellectual property rights.
Under the agreement, Grupo Luis Caballero will oversee sales and distribution, while both companies will jointly invest in marketing and brand-building activities to strengthen La Vie en Rose’s positioning in the premium segment.
Growing demand for alcohol-free drinks creates new opportunities
Through this partnership, both companies aim to support the development and establishment of high-quality alcohol-free rosé in Spain. La Vie en Rose joins the portfolio at a time of growth in the alcohol-free segment, both in Spain and internationally, driven by consumption habits centered on wellbeing, moderation and mindful enjoyment. This shift creates opportunities for premium offerings that preserve the ritual of wine across new drinking occasions.
Against this backdrop, Rosé 0,0 will be a key focus of the partnership, enabling Grupo Luis Caballero to broaden its offering for consumers seeking new experiences and alcohol-free alternatives with premium appeal. With this addition, “both companies aim to tap into the potential of an emerging category and strengthen the brand’s presence across hospitality, restaurants and specialist retailers,” explains Luis Caballero, Chairman of the Group.
“Forming this strategic partnership with a company of Grupo Luis Caballero’s heritage and standing marks a significant step forward in establishing La Vie en Rose. Combining our winemaking expertise and innovative vision—particularly in the 0.0% and premium segments—with Caballero’s logistics capabilities, commercial strength and almost two centuries of experience will allow us to take the quality and reach of our rosé offering to new heights, both in Spain and internationally,” says Maite Geijo, winemaker for La Vie en Rose and Acontia.
Three expressions designed to make their mark in the premium segment
With its versatility and fruit-forward character, La Vie en Rose is equally at home as an aperitif or paired with more sophisticated dishes. Guided by its philosophy of “Rosear Vidas”—bringing a touch of rosé to life—the brand invites consumers to bring elegance, authenticity and enjoyment to every moment. The range combines winemaking excellence with natural freshness, offering three distinct expressions to complement different occasions and culinary experiences: Cava Brut Rosé D.O. Cava, Rosé 0,0 dealcoholized wine and Rosado A.O.C. Côtes de Provence.
Cava Brut Rosé D.O. Cava is a vibrant, exceptionally versatile cava made in Requena, Valencia, using the traditional method. Rosado A.O.C. Côtes de Provence comes from the heart of Provence in France, the historic home of some of the world’s most sought-after rosés. Rosé 0,0, meanwhile, showcases winemaking innovation that opens new possibilities for enjoyment. It preserves the aromatic profile, freshness and visual elegance of premium rosé, demonstrating that neither pleasure nor the ritual of celebration depends on alcohol.
Cava Brut Rosé and Rosé 0,0 each have a recommended retail price of €17.95, while Rosado A.O.C. Côtes de Provence is priced at €21.95.
