Manuel Lozano, Lustau’s oenologist, received in London, last night, his newest recognition in the prestigious International Wine Challenge gala, crediting him as the world’s best fortified wine oenologist for the seventh consecutive year. Never before in the history of the competition has a winemaker managed to revalidate his title for seven years in a row as the best in his class. Manuel Lozano stands deservedly among the greats of world enology.
Considered the “Oscars” of the wine world, the International Wine Challenge contest follows one of the most thorough and rigorous tasting and scoring systems.
This new award adds up to the tremendous results obtained by Bodegas Lustau’s wines, positioned as the most awarded winery in Europe, with a total of 45 medals, including 10 gold.
