COVID-19: Comply, collaborate and find new ways of socializing

Dear colleagues, friends and partners,

Luis Caballero is a family owned Spanish company with a broad international presence that, since 1830, has been producing quality wines and spirits. Our goal is and has always been to maintain the outmost consumer satisfaction.

Today we are faced with the Coronavirus pandemic and the crisis being confronted has never been seen nor imagined. It is triggering economic and social consequences without precedents forcing us to adapt to a new scenario that demand fundamental measures.

We continue working to serve all customer and consumer commitments while keeping to the recommendations of the health and sanitation ministry, OMS, and autonomous communities’ mandates. Necessary steps and precautions have been taken in compliance with the authorities advise taking into account the health of employees, their families and all whom we collaborate with as our priority.

The nonessential person to person contact with customers, international and national travel, and enological tourism activities have been suppressed. Concurrently extreme hygiene and sanitary practices have taken effect at the production facilities where most of the personnel are working remotely to prevent contagion.

We now work diligently to find creative means to connect with the community and to especially serve those that have been affected. Increasing virtual communications through social media and web applications are the best ways to stay connected as we all overcome these trying times.

Also, since we are fully aware of the damage this crisis is causing the hospitality sector, we are reaching out to encourage and support restaurants, bars, and distributors. These closures, despite the financial hardship they cause, are fundamental in defeating the spread we therefore acknowledge them for this.

We hope that you are well during the confinement and that during this forced pause from the usual daily pressures we find some meaningful value.

From all of us at Caballero, today more than ever, we are grateful for the effort and dedication of the health, police and military professionals looking after us especially those that care for the elderly.

For almost 200 years our company has conquered the difficulties history has presented, I wish to convey strength against this new test from which we will without a doubt emerge steadfast to enjoy life… a stroll, a hug, and a glass of wine with friends.
