The House of Lustau once again the most awarded Sherry producer

Jerez, May 22nd, 2017. Bodegas Lustau outperforms in top prestige European wine competitions becoming once again the most awarded sherry producer after harvesting 80 awards, including 21 Gold Medals and 3 Trophies.

Gold medals spread throughout every range in the House’s portfolio, evidencing that quality in Lustau is a constant at all levels:

Within the Specialties of the House, it is particularly remarkable the results obtained by Lustau Age Dated Sherry collection.

Decanter has awarded the “Best Very Old Sherry” to Lustau Oloroso VORS -30 years- and the “Best Sweet Sherry” to Lustau Pedro Ximenez VOS– 20 years. Also, the International Wine Challenge has confirmed the Lustau Pedro Ximénez VORS -30 years- as the best PX in the competition, earning the Pedro Ximénez Trophy.

The Solera Familiar range, composed by 12 wines representing all the styles of sherry, has obtained 4 gold medals.

The Almacenista range, composed by 8 wines coming from small producers in the three towns of the Sherry triangle, has achieved 5 golden accolades.

The many awards received by Lustau, endorse its leading role in Sherry wine worldwide, with the widest and the best quality Sherry range.
